Pastor Jackson Senyonga’s Teenage Years
Jackson’s mother was not around during his childhood or teenage years. His aunt did raise him and he lived yards away from his father but was never close to him. His father focused on his occupation as a coffee farmer and was not there during Jackson’s childhood.
When Jackson was in his teenage years his father was murdered due to the dictatorship of Idi Amin. During this time there was a war taking place in Uganda and it was common to hear gunfire throughout the cities. Jackson found out that his father had been murdered after his father did not return home for six days. A group of people came to his aunt’s house crying and broke the news. Even though he was not close to his father he was devastated.
His mother did come back into his life after this happened but only temporarily to visit and pay her respects. Jackson hoped she would take him with her but he was let down when she left without him.
